A dated, heavily tiled bathroom guided entirely through remote direction into a bright, compact space with blue onyx and brass.
The old tiled bathroom felt tired, and out of step with the fresh feel the owner wanted - a nod to her love of the ocean, without tipping into anything busy or cluttered. Working entirely remotely, the colour and material direction, an initial sketch proposal and ongoing guidance carried the project through a shift in style partway through, from modern cottage toward something more contemporary. The result is clean, easy to maintain, and built for everyday use - a downstairs bathroom shared by the family and doubling as the one guests see first.
