A fully specified bathroom concept for a Georgian house, developed from a fixed brief into a resolved layout with real materials and fittings.
The brief was for a private sanctuary within a Georgian house - a bathroom built for adults, meant for closing the door and slowing down. Working within a fixed colour and design direction, the layout was replanned around the existing chimney breast, with stone, dark joinery and brass chosen to give the room a settled, grown-up feel. Lighting was kept low and considered throughout for a desired theatrical feel, so the material palette carries most of the calm the brief asked for.
