A compact living-dining room reworked around one wall of bespoke joinery, adding storage, a desk and space to host.
The room needed to feel balanced - somewhere to unwind with a glass of wine, host a proper dinner, or settle into a few more hours of work, all without feeling like three different rooms pretending to be one. A single wall of bespoke joinery took on the practical load - storage, a bigger television, a discreet desk - freeing the rest of the space to focus purely on atmosphere. Restorative, muted blues and off-whites set the tone, while a mix of vintage and contemporary furniture, an extendable table for hosting, and a considered layering of old and new gave the room the lived-in character it was missing.
